A four acre walled garden comprising herbaceous borders, vegetables and cutting garden.

The trainee will experience:

Managing a walled garden open to the public
Working with a diverse range of horticultural techniques
Understanding the close relationship between a garden and a large house

As a small, close-knit team we will be able to provide an in-depth experience that the trainee can develop the skills required to manage a similar garden themselves in the future.

The working hours are 08.00 to 16.30 with thirty minutes for lunch and two tea breaks. Salary tbc. No accommodation but help in sourcing suitable lodgings will be offered.
