Largest Rock garden in Europe, Rhododendron collections, valley garden and pinetum. General Historical Garden horticultural practices – including visitor interface, Carpet bedding, seasonal displays, propagation, project development of a new rose garden and valley gardens.

Cragside was created very largely by three remarkable Victorians – its owners, William and Margaret Armstrong, and their architect, Richard Norman Shaw. Many mature specimens dating back to their first introduction to the country.
