Leadership, Innovation and Growth

The Chartered Institute of Horticulture (CIH) holds its AGM and Conference at the Farmers’ and Fletchers’ Hall, Cloth Street, Central London on Wednesday 30 November.

At the AGM Martin Emmett will deliver the James Bruce Keynote Lecture. Martin is a prominent horticulturist and director of Walberton and Binsted Nurseries.

The CIH Conference will feature speakers on Leadership, Innovation and Growth in the public and commercial sectors of horticulture and the impacts of horticulture on public health and government agendas, nationally and internationally.

Whether in the public or commercial sectors the same challenges run through all horticultural enterprises. Delegates will hear invaluable insights from all sector speakers in what promises to be an informative and thought provoking conference.

There will be a participatory workshop led by Dr Owen Doyle President-Elect and Dr Heather Barrett-Mold about the process of applying for CIH Charter Status and completing the application process and pro-forma.
