Sophie Cook visits Romania on the AGS Study Tour
Sophie says: ”I was fortunate enough to receive funding from the RHS to join a study tour run by the Alpine Garden Society (AGS) to view alpine species in Romania this summer. Over a period of 10 days, we traveled southwards, sampling various habitats along the way; from limestone gorges to plateaus over 2000m high! It was incredible to visit a country with a greater wildflower diversity than ours, and has given me many ideas for naturalistic planting back here in the UK.”
